WHY YOU SHOULD PROTECT YOUR WHALER® WITH
THE MILLS MOORING COVER

We design our cover to the actual production model. Our covers are specific to the boat manufacture and model. When necessary our covers are designed with an integrated support system to ensure proper rain run off. All of our covers are designed with a vinyl reinforcement patches on all identifiable chafe areas.

We are proud to lead the industry in quality and fit for Boston Whaler® covers.

HOW WE FASTEN OUR COVERS

All Mills & Co. mooring covers utilize a 3 methods of holding the cover on your boat regardless of the model.

Many of classic 13’ 15’ 17’ Boston Whaler® boats built from the 1960’s thru to the mid 1990’s utilize our exclusive Special Gunwale Clips (see pictures). The covers also include webbing loops sewn into the covers and a drawstring sewn into the lapel. The loops may be utilized for tying a cover under the boat or to a trailer when traveling at moderate speeds. The advantage of the Mills Clip system is no fasteners need to be installed into your Whaler® hull.

The Mills Clip comes in a variety of sizes depending on the model of your Whaler®.
The Clip is exclusive to Wm. J. Mills & Co. covers.

Due to design changes on larger Outrage® models and post mid 1990’s models the Mills Clip was rendered ineffective. Therefore, we developed our Hook and Bungee Cord system pictured below. The Hook and Cord system provide a positive system for securing your cover while on a mooring or sitting on the trailer. This system also incorporates webbing loops sewn into the covers and a drawstring.
